A preview of winter

Where is the Autumn bloom? (Look at Elizabeth Fernandez’s article ‘Here Comes the Autumn Bloom’ for reference.)

A preview of winter

Rhonan Norvell, Co-Editor-In-Chief

It is only the starting weeks of October 2017 and the first snow has already came out of a seemingly unknown place.

With the high from yesterday being 68 degrees fahrenheit and to get snow the next day is quite honestly just annoying to me.

Not only is a drop in temperature that drastic in that amount of time not a good thing for the earth, it also isn’t a good thing for any of our bodies and might become a growing issue. It is common knowledge that if your body temperature fluctuates too much in a certain amount of time the chances of you getting sick are increased severely.

Although the opinions towards the snow are vastly different, much like a lot of things in this world, I certainly have an issue with the snow coming this early in the year. After starting my day out by spending more than 25 minutes all together brushing and scraping snow off of my car and a side effect of soaked jeans and a worsened attitude, I was finally able to actually go to school.

To add more fuel to the fire there is also no way to prepare for what to wear and how you’ll be able to handle any activities you were planning on doing because of the unpredictability of the weather.

Here we are 67 days before the first day of winter, with winter weather. I for one am absolutely not happy.
