Smoky Hill High - Andalyn

Starting Monday, Jan. 25, to Saturday, Jan. 30, Student Government will be sponsoring Winter Wish Week.

According to wish.org “Make-A-Wish has vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 37 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve,”

Throughout the Wish Week, “Smoky Hill will be working with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant the wish of 5 year-old Andalyn. Andalyn is battling heart complication and intestinal failure.  Her one true wish is to go to Disney World for her 6th birthday.  Andalyn and her family live just down the street from Smoky Hill and will be attending our Pep Assembly on Friday, January 29,” As stated on the Smoky Hill High School website

Student Government will be hosting a large number of events taking place throughout the week to raise money for Make-A-Wish Colorado to support Andalyn’s wish.
