HEY SMOKY HILL GIRLS! Have you met your new soccer coach, Mr. Dayton Owen, aka Coach “O” ?

Coach Owen owned The National Goalkeeper Academy, trained coaches how to train goalkeepers, and was nominated Coach of the year. He helped Florida State build their team.  “ I coach with a lot of energy and passion. I don’t like to lose, and I believe Smoky Hill has the potential to do great things. The more you attack the less you have to attend. I run the best formation that fits the players and the game situation.”

Mr. Owen believes in FINAO- Failure Is Not An Option- Do not accept failure. Find a way to fix it and turn it into a positive. He has coached for 39 years and has won 800 victories.

Note from the coach: The junior varsity team will not go 0-13-1 ever again, and JV players will always get pulled up if they put forth the effort and are ready to get a feel of the varsity experience.  

Coach has a question for you during tryouts and he advises that you answer it carefully when it is asked or get ready for some running… “WHO DO YOU PLAY FOR?”
