Smoky’s first ever Car Show

“Vroom, vroom”

Ronan Norvell, Staffer

The first Smoky Hill auto show was on Saturday Oct. 15 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.

It was a fun experience where you could come free of charge and show off your ride with no age limit. There was also food and drinks being sold. Donations were appreciated while portions of all donations and sales are going to Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Being there was really completely different then I expected it to be. It was very laid back and was really nice to experience.

There were classic, retro, modern and many other unique cars shown off. Since many local community members came out to support Smoky and whip out their rides, the overall local feel was very apparent which made the whole experience even better.

This was the first car show Smoky Hill has ever hosted and because it was such a hit, it will without a doubt, not be the last.

I fell this should definitely be an annual event for many reasons, such as how family friendly it was, the local feel, how laid back it was and how great the turnout was. On a scale of five stars, I most definitely give four out of five. The whole thing was very well done and was a great experience and time for the whole family to enjoy.
