The second round of the NBA playoffs has come to an end and the two teams who advanced will play in the East conference finals on Wednesday.
During the second round, the Cleveland Cavaliers played the Chicago bulls in a very fan anticipated match between a strong scoring Cavaliers offense and an big and aggressive Bulls defense. The Cavaliers played without Kevin Love causing there to be a size disadvantage since he was there starting power forward. Love is out for the remainder of the playoffs with a shoulder dislocation. The series between the Cavaliers and the Bulls was short lived for the Bulls as the Cavaliers defeated them, four games to two.
The Atlanta Hawks played the Washington Wizards as well during this round. The Wizards star player John Wall played through the series with an injury to his hand. This put the Wizards at a disadvantage because their starting point guard was not playing his best basketball. The injury was a huge factor in the series as the Hawks beat the Wizards four games to two.
The Cavaliers will play the Hawks in the East Conference finals.
“The Cavaliers will beat the Hawks four games to one.” Junior Jordan Newton said.
