Every year at Smoky Hill, we have ASSET Days. ASSET Days are when presenters and speakers come to our school to help us make healthy choices for our futures. Typically they are spread over two-three days throughout the week, however, this year all of the presentations are spread out on October 21st.

According to the flyer (which will be attached below), the number of presentations are still the same. The only thing that is different is that the presentations will all be presented on the same day. All presentations will be in the auditorium.  (For more information about ASSET Day- look below)

Here is the list of the presentations:

1R- “He Named Me Malala”: Presented by Girl Up: A documentary which Malala Yousafzai S.St and her journey through advocating for girls education after being shot by the Talaban will be presented during first period.

2R- “Bully”: Presented by Buffstanders: A documentary that follow the storylines of 5 teenagers and the struggle of being bullied, presented during second period.

3R- “Rise Above Colorado- Not Prescribed”: Presented by StuGo: A presentation about how drugs are not good for us will be presented during third period.

4R- “Jennifer Tracy- Dare You to Move”: a Presentation by Jennifer Tracy, a speaker from MADD Colorado, an organization that is dedicated to education teens in Colorado about drunk driving. This will be the final presentation.
