September,18 a Fbla (Future Business Leaders Of America) meet in room II-113 to discuss all registration forms for the anybody who wants to sign up for the club. The meeting also included information about the first trip of the year to the 2014 Fall Leadership Conference.

FBLA is a business club that is open for all students to join, as long as they have paid their 20 dollar admission fees to get into the club. There are also T-shirts order forms that cost 15 dollars ( if students want them) given to students at the next meeting. There is also another 20 dollars due for anybody who wants to go to the 2014 Fall Leadership Conference which will cover the conference dues, food, and transportation to the event.

There are a number of field trips and activities that the club does throughout the school year that students can be apart of, (ex: The Stock Market challenge at Denver University, District Leadership Conference at the Pepsi Center etc. The first field trip of the year is a trip to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado.)

The conference will focus on business skills and giving a students a feel of what the overall club will be like from then on. The field trips starts around 6:30am on Tues, October 14, 2014 and arrives back at school that afternoon at 3:30pm. There will be donuts and and juice provided and lunch at Old Chicago after the conference.

Business attire is required to be worn at the conference. Slacks, polo shirts, business shoes/socks are required for males. A skirt/ slacks with a blouse or sweater, or polo shirt, business shoes/ socks are required for females.

All dues for the field trip and permission slips are due no later than Thur, Oct, 2nd,. Students can also turn them at the next meeting next Thursday at 6:45 am along with their registration form and money.

“Well judging by our first meeting we have quite a few new members, a lot more members than we have had in the past two years.” FBLA leader Scott Henry said Henry said. “So I think this is an indication that were going to do well.”
