As the year starts to close out, The Animal Rescue Connections Club is starting to do its last  few closing activities before the end of the year.

One of the club’s end of the year activities is watching a documentary called Speciesism. The movie is being shown to give the club participants a better understanding of veganism and what it means to be vegan.

“The movie is about this man that is going to different parts of the United States and is getting different perspectives on how we treat our animals in the industry and how it affecting society, as well animals. He is trying to get a balanced argument for veganism and non veganism,”  sponsor Debbie Sengsavath said.

The club was originally going to do some Peace Bandanas for their animals at their adoption event at Animal Rescue in the Rockies. The group was going to make the bandanas so the animals could wear them at adoption events which are held at Petco and PetsMart. However, the group will not be able to accomplish this due to the movie they are watching.
